Beautiful Rocky Gap State Park in Western Maryland plays host to the 13th annual XTERRA EX2 Off-Road Triathlon and Duathlon on Sunday, July 10th. This venue is drop dead gorgeous, with its sandy beaches, clear mountain lake, and huge grassy transition area. The incredible trail network includes twisty lakeside single-track, undulating double-track, a few challenging rock gardens, the infamous Evitt's Revenge hill climb, and a fun and memorable rock scramble section on the trail run. Make a weekend out of it and camp at the park, stay in the on-site lodge/casino, or head to a local bed and breakfast.
